The mission behind NetWish is to grant wishes and give hope to these hardworking individuals who have fallen on hard times. A nonprofit focused on paying it forward, this organization allows families in need to make a request on their page. Applications are reviewed and financial assistance is provided to applicants who successfully demonstrate need. NetWish awards a maximum of $200 per request. All payments are made in the form of gift certificates or pre-paid credit cards only. Due to the large volume of requests, not all applicants will receive funds.

NetWish reminds applicants, the more specific the request, the better the chance of receiving funds. They also try to focus on assisting families with children, older adults or other vulnerable members of the community. In the past, NetWish has helped individuals with expenses related to Medical Bills, Phone Bills, Rental Payments, and other pressing needs one may be experiencing.
